Georgette

Georgette is a very lightweight, woven fabric. It can be quite sheer and can have a a matt crinkle like texture. It has a very good drape and can be printed in a huge variety of colours. Traditional Georgette was made from silk but can now be made from synthetic fibres. Georgette is commonly used to make blouses, scarves, dresses and special occasion wear.
